Diamond Circles is one of the UK’s most talked about underground breakdance events. From the producers of the Castle Rocks Breakdance Championships, they’ll be teaming up with DANCE:FILM 09 to bring you their finest line-up to date, bringing the event well and truly out of the underground. The headline exhibition battle will see two of the world’s finest b-boys, in Scotland for the first time, going head to head in a battle you do not want to miss: USA’s Omar (star of Inside The Circle) will take on Russia’s Yan Shrimp. There will be popping and locking exhibitions as well as a B-GIRL battle, proving that the ladies can do it just as well! As if that isn’t enough, there will also be Brotherly Love, a 2-on-2 competition where all crews must be brothers (or sisters) to enter. There will also be an open floor with a chance for the JUNIOR b-boys/girls (under 14s) to shine! Cyphers, circles and jamming will be happening throughout.
This is an event for EVERYONE, b-boys, b-girls and spectators. ALL ages are welcome!
