STUART HOPPS
Stuart has been a Choreographer for over 40 years. He was formerly Associate Director of Scottish Ballet when he worked on his first two feature films: The Wicker Man and Derek Jarman’s The Tempest. Since becoming freelance in the seventies he has worked extensively in film, theatre , television and opera. His credits include over 20 feature films and numerous TV productions. His long collaboration with the filmmaker Kenneth Branagh started with Much Ado About Nothing, and continues to the present day. Other films include A Knight's Tale and Ang Lee’s Sense and Sensibility. Stuart's most recent film The Nutcracker: The Untold Story, will be released in December, and is directed by Andrei Konchalovsky.

 

SANDY STRALLEN
Sandy Strallen is the founder and curator of the London International Dancefilm Festival at London’s Riverside Studios. Formerly a dancer with many companies from Royal Opera Ballet to Cats over a period of 20 years from 1978 to 1998, Sandy retired from performing to concentrate on dance-film production and marketing. He is now particularly interested in presenting, promoting and producing the work of neo-classical dance choreographers’ work on film.
